PROGRAM DESIGN - BILINGUAL Ed.

1. Careful recruitment and selection of residents and mentor teachers within a strong partnership between the California Center on Teaching Careers, California State University, Bakersfield, Cutler-Orosi Joint Unified School District, Delano Joint Union High School District,  Dinuba Unified School District, Tulare Joint Union High School District, and Visalia Unified School District; 

2. Tightly integrated curriculum based on a year-long clinical placement in high-need classrooms;

3. Adequate living stipend and financial assistance;

4. Mentoring & coaching supports designed to help residents grow during the one-year of clinical co-teaching experience thru their second & third year of teaching.
