PROGRAM DESIGN - SPECIAL Ed.

1. Careful recruitment and selection of residents and mentor teachers within a strong partnership between the California Center on Teaching Careers,  California State University, Fresno  and Tulare County School Districts

2. Tightly integrated curriculum based on a year-long clinical placement in high-need classrooms

3. Adequate living stipend and financial assistance

4. Mentoring and coaching support designed to help residents grow during the one-year of clinical co-teaching experience through their second & third year of teaching.
